Cara Ammon has worked as a market research professional for nearly two decades, with specific expertise in the design, execution and analysis of custom consumer research.  She has expert knowledge in all areas of quantitative and qualitative custom research, syndicated research, test analysis and category management.  Additionally, Cara has experience with nearly all major categories in fresh foods, working with dozens of commodity boards, grower/shippers and retailers. 

Cara was previously the Director of Research Services for the Nielsen Perishables Group.  She had been a part of the management team and with the company for 15 years.  In 2015, Cara saw the opportunity to bring new and innovative services to clients in a more flexible and cost-effective manner, and launched Beacon Research Solutions, and has continued to work with a number of leading commissions and grower/shippers in the produce industry.
